I've been accepted into the Design program in the Department of Art and Art History, officially!

After three semesters of fumbling around, trying out classes geared toward Radio/TV/Film, Journalism, and English, I had to wake up and realize it: I love art. I NEEDED to do something with art. And so I fought through the insecurities of going to a big school (with a lot of competitors) and applied to Design! Talk about daunting. So after a grueling two essay, plus portfolio, plus resumé, plus working hard for grades for three semesters, I've been accepted into a program where I'll have to apply AGAIN after a year to get in the upper divisions.

BUT. I'm hella excited. I go for my advising on the 13th, where I get to throw out some of the boring classes I'd scheduled for this semester and replace them with super special fun major-only art and design classes. HECK YES.

Anyway. Yeah. I'm in a good mood. :3
